About the Opportunity

Overview: NOWCC is a collection of employees, physicians, and patient volunteers from Nanaimo Regional General
Hospital (NRGH) and Nanaimo and Oceanside Communities that formed in June 2017. The NOWCC is accountable to the
Nanaimo Oceanside Quality Council (NOQC).

Purpose: To work towards the creation of a workplace culture that encourages a positive and safe experience for the entire
care team and the patients we serve. This experience includes safety and wellness for all individuals who work or volunteer
within the health system. Members actively engage in various initiatives to improve the human experience.
