Island Health is offering quality training for all physicians. These interactive sessions will support physicians to:
• Understand quality, patient safety & quality improvement (QI) theory
• Measure and improve quality in their practice and program
• Lead and participate in systems quality
The first session – Quality Basics – will be offered across the Island and will be facilitated by Dr. Adele Harrison – EMD Quality, Safety and Improvement. Sessions will also connect you with QI supports at Island Health, the Joint Collaborative Committees, and the BC Patient Safety & Quality Council.
