About the Event
Join Dr. Drew Delany and visiting specialists for a night of three pediatric critical care resuscitation simulations aiming to develop improved management of pediatric airway skills in an interdisciplinary collaboration with a focus on communication skill development.
Learning Objectives:
- Approach to management of pediatric airway including preoxygenation, RSI, medications and endotracheal intubation.
- Interdisciplinary collaboration and communication skill development to improve care and management of pediatric resuscitation
- Identify barriers, challenges and opportunities for improvement in managing pediatric resuscitation at NRGH.
- Practice and improve crisis resource management skills in simulated emergency environment.
