Would you like to know how local health researchers are transforming health care in British Columbia and around the world? Join Michael Smith Foundation for Health Research, Island Health, and the Victoria Hospitals Foundation for Health xChange Victoria!
Everyone is welcome to attend this free public knowledge exchange and networking event— HealthXChange’s first to showcase the innovative solutions transforming health care on Vancouver Island. Members of the public will learn more about local health research. Researchers, clinicians and health care professionals will discover opportunities for collaboration and knowledge sharing. Network with the scientists, clinicians, researchers, patients, partners, and others at the cutting edge of BC health research.
Unable to attend in person? That’s okay! This event is hybrid, meaning you can attend presentations virtually via Zoom. A URL will be emailed to those that register as virtual guests.
Using a Pecha Kucha format of 20 slides presented for only 20 seconds, each ~7-minute presentation is delivered in a highly accessible and engaging fashion with opportunity for questions. Health research leaders will present a broad spectrum of projects at enhancing patient care and health outcomes.
