About the Event

Speaker: Sue Decker

Over 30+ years as a Registered Speech Language Pathologist, Sue has developed many innovative programs to serve the needs of clients with communication impairments and their families in community, rehabilitation, and long-term care settings. As a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Alberta and independent contractor for many years, she designed, implemented, and evaluated speech-language pathology services in partnership with government health authorities, First Nations, and non-profit agencies. Sue also conducted clinical research in partnership with faculty members while at the U of A. She is currently an Advisor for Long-Term Care with Speech-Language & Audiology Canada and she has a private practice serving adult clients and their families in Greater Victoria.
